Drew's life just got a whole lot harder. Her relationships are falling apart, her little sister is failing math, and her parents are leaving for Florida to take care of Grandpa. A New Adult without all the angst....YAY!! What a great romance Crystal Donahue has here. ABOVE PAR was part sweet, with a splash of sexy and a whole lotta romance. Drew was a great heroine, she was hard-working, tried her best to be a "good daughter/sister" and finally might have found the "Guy of her dreams"...But could he be hiding a secret?
Weston...Swoony Swoon...Who doesn't like a sexy geometry teacher with killer dimples! I knew there was something fishy from the beginning, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Crystal Donahue does a fabulous job at keeping us hanging on like a teenage girl to her first bad-boy crush. But didn't DRAGGGGGG out the drama, it was a smooth ride the whole way through, a I thoroughly enjoyed the ride!
Highly recommended read from A Tasty Read and I will be on the lookout for more by Crystal Donahue in the future. I am kinda hoping she will give Max and Stacey their own book...but only time will tell!!

Crystal
Donahue has been fortunate to live all over the US, including but not limited
to Arizona, Hawaii, and Georgia but she currently resides near the
Iowa/Illinois border with her tornado obsessed son and their mischievous cat,
Brownie. She is a procrastinator of epic proportions, finds humor in almost
everything, loves sarcasm and loathes washing dishes.
A 2004 graduate of Western Illinois University, Crystal has held several unique jobs including driving a Zamboni and being a relay operator for the hearing and speech impaired. While working as a claims adjuster she realized life is too short not to do something that makes you happy, so she quit her job to go back to school and study nursing. Between work, school, and raising her son she somehow manages to find time to write too, usually to the detriment of her social life. Fortunately her friends and family rock so it isn't much of an issue... yet.
