Elizabeth Brannigan is determined to show her father she’s capable of running the family business. Saving his struggling Chicago bar seems like the perfect project. But she’ll need a little help dealing with the rough crowd. Who better to assist her than the handsome co-owner of a thriving Irish pub? Of course, with so much work to do, there are bound to be a few late nights…

Colin O’Leary’s father passed away before he could prove to him that he wasn’t a screw-up. Now he wants to show his brother he’s responsible enough to own a bar of his own—and Elizabeth may be able to help him. But when their professional aspirations clash, tempers—and passions—flare. Are they mature enough to mix business with pleasure—or will they have to choose between the two?

Meet Shannyn

Shannyn is a former English teacher, who now works as a part-time editor while raising her three kids.
Even though she wrote from high school through college (mostly poetry), she’d never considered a career as an author. Writing fell by the wayside as she focused her energy on creating lesson plans and new and fabulous ways to torment her teen students. One group in particular dubbed her “The Torture Master,” a title she carried into motherhood.
After the birth of baby number two, Shannyn resigned from teaching and fell in love with reading romance novels. She read so many books so quickly that her husband teased, “If you’re going to read so many damn books, why don’t you just write one?”
So she did.
That first book is safely buried on her hard drive, but the process set Shannyn on the path to where she is today—agented with a debut ebook coming out with Kensington in late 2012.
She is recovering from her Diet Coke addiction, fears putting her foot in her mouth on social media, and has a renewed appreciation for the bad girls of the world.

For months, shy drummer Jinx Hardwick has been silently crushing on her tall, dark, and scary bandmate, Toombs Badcock. Drawn to his frightening ink and scars, she yearns to uncover the shadowy secrets lurking behind his silver eyes, but Jinx is too intimidated to even look at him, let alone talk to him. When she stumbles upon Toombs and their manipulative lead guitarist Rax in a compromising position, Jinx realizes her chances of winning Toombs’s heart aren’t just a long shot—they’re nonexistent. To make matters worse, Jinx’s family needs her at home. She’s about to back away from it all—Toombs, the band, her dreams of fame and fortune—when Rax makes her an offer she can’t refuse: a no-holds-barred night alone with Toombs. There’s one small catch. She has to go through Rax to get it.

Wolfe Jackson is hot on the trail of a domestic terroristic who has been causing havoc and panic by blowing up factories. The trail, although sketchy, has led to a convention in the Midwest. Is it a false trail? Wolfe is unsure, but he knows that a certain blonde named Krista bears investigating.

Krista Harlow finds her life as a principal dull. So bland in fact, she thinks attending the annual principal conference might enliven it. She even harbors secret romantic aspirations. As a principal, she must keep everything strait laced and buttoned down, but that was before she was mistaken for a corporate saboteur and possible murderer.

Wolfe initially approaches the suspect by pretending he knows her. Krista plays along, proving she's either devilishly clever or she's really interested in him as a man. The road to restore his credibility is full of dangerous curves.

Excerpt

“Rachel, didn’t you hear me calling?” He stepped closer and put one hand on her arm, sending an arc of electricity through her body.

This is where it got difficult. How well did Rachel know him? If they’d been lovers, she would know him very, very well—definitely well enough to remember his name.

“So sorry, handsome,” Krista purred. “I was thinking about the dress I didn’t buy.”

“Sounds like you. Have you had dinner yet?” He watched her with one expressive eyebrow lifted.

“Um…no.” Krista had doubts about how far she should go with the Rachel thing, but she needed to eat sometime. Why not have dinner with him? Oh sure, it would be a hardship to have dinner with Mr. Stud Muffin.

He cupped her elbow and guided her in the direction of the steak house where the aroma of mesquite-flavored beef enticed shoppers. There was a significant wait so they moved to the bar. A few people called out greetings as they entered. She listened closely in effort to catch his name. Krista was sure his name wasn’t buddy or friend—no help there. He ordered oversized margaritas for both of them. Krista was about to tell him iced tea when she remembered Rachel might love margaritas.

“Wolfe, Wolfe Jackson. You don’t remember me, do you?”

His grin was devastating against his tanned skin. He reminded Krista of a pirate, the swashbuckling type as opposed to the peg-legged ones. She was lost. Perhaps someone would scrape her up as she melted at his feet. Krista shook her head since talking was more than she could handle at that moment.

“We met at my cousin’s wedding, Samuel Levinson. I believe he married your friend Ruth, or is she your cousin?” Wolfe placed his hand over hers on the bar.

Krista nodded eagerly at the verbal lifeline he’d thrown her while she tried to ignore the heat radiating from his hand. “She was, um, is, my friend. I don’t see her much since I moved.” He might wonder if she never talked to her cousin. Krista gulped the margarita in an attempt to alleviate the sudden heat streaking through her body, but the alcohol raised her body temperature instead. Not one of her better ideas. The liquor singed her empty stomach like three-alarm chili, while giving her an air of flirtatiousness she normally lacked. She remembered why she didn’t drink—she couldn’t hold her liquor.

The bartender lingered nearby and asked if they needed anything. Krista looked Wolfe up and down boldly and knew she had everything she needed. Wolfe’s wink caught her unawares, and she almost slipped off the stool. In a flash, he was beside her, wrapping an arm around her waist. For an instant, she leaned into him, inhaling the smell of sandalwood, soap, and a hint of gasoline. Then she remembered she was supposed to be sitting on a stool not oozing all over him like a melted ice cream bar and jerked upright. What kind of girl was Rachel? Krista was secretly hoping Rachel was a touch fast. Fast sounded superb.

Meet Morgan

Morgan K Wyatt, raised on a steady diet of superheroes, believed she could fly at a very young age. After using trees, barn lofts, sliding boards, and even a second story window as launch pads, she found her flying skills were limited to fast and downward. By the age of nine, her dreams to be a superhero needed some modifications, which caused her to turn to writing and horseback riding as alternatives to flying.

At the age of twenty, she had another chance at superhero greatness as being one of the few female soldiers trained for combat. The fact that women will be able to serve in combat soon indicates that all the witnesses to the grenade incident have retired. The grenade incident didn’t prevent her two sons or daughter-in-law from enlisting in the service. Having different last names probably helped.

Morgan recently retired from teaching special needs students to write fulltime, instead of in the wee hours of the night. With the help of her helpful husband and loyal hound, she creates characters who often grab plot lines and run with them. As for flying, she prefers the airlines now.

Who doesn't love a hero like Jamie, tough on the outside, a little tortured and kinda bad-ass, but sweet and kind, would be there to save you if you ever came home from a bar, slightly drunk and the guy you were sharing the cab with, tried to get a little to "Friendly", yep, that's Jamie, and I liked him all the more for it.

Harriet....meh....I was kinda pissed at her, and wanted to smack her a few times, but there are only a handful of Heroines who I actually LOVE, so maybe I get a bit too attached to my heroes...hummmmm....Anyway, she did redeem herself at the end, and THANK GOD for that!

Sweet Romance with a side dish of Spice!  Nice read for a Rainy Afternoon!

Meet Emily

I have always believed that the best stories are the ones that you can't put down, the ones that transport you to a different place and make you believe in the characters. This is exactly why I write… I have always loved the escapism that reading and writing provides, and there is nothing more exciting than imagining your own set of characters, and then letting them practically write the story for you. Writing has always been a dream of mine, and I'm lucky to have the kind of people around me that have always nurtured and encouraged my passion.

I live a cozy little life in Wales, and when I'm not writing I'm taking care of my young family, studying for a degree in Classical Studies, and training to become a nail technician. I love traveling to new places, meeting new people, and experiencing new things…it's all great inspiration for my books!

BARE IT ALL, had it all...from smoking hot Reese Bareden, who you met in Book One, Alice Appleton, his secluded neighbor, who you also met in book one, and were just waiting for the sparks to fly!!  Yes, the embers were flowing ladies!

As the person responsible for taking down a brutal human trafficker, Alice Appleton fears retaliation at every turn. No one knows about her past, which is exactly how she prefers it...until the sexy cop next door comes knocking.

Detective Reese Bareden thinks he knows what makes women tick, but his ever-elusive neighbor keeps him guessing like no other. Is his goal to unmask Alice's secrets? Or protect her from a dangerous new threat? One thing is certain: their chemistry is a time bomb waiting to explode. And with no one to trust but each other, Reese and Alice are soon drawn into a deadly maze of corruption, intrigue and desire-and into the line of fire....

Alice, well, she has a few secrets, and Reese, well, he plans on finding them all out, and if he has to use his body to do it....well....there have been worse things....haha...JK....he is ALL about using his body to get Alice to spill her secrets, and let me tell you...I think she might just use him back a little too!

The suspense is right on, the heroine is Kick-Butt...Loved Alice, and all her weapons, and the little possessive streak she has for Reese, especially when the OTHER ladies come sniffin around her man! The hero is...well....is Yummo enough of an explanation?  And Rowdy...well...I could ALWAYS use more Rowdy in any book, even a book about Gardening.

Lori has written series that is Suspenseful, Sexy, Addicting and OH SO MUCH FUN!  You don't have to start with RUN THE RISK, which is book one, but you don't want to miss out on how Logan and Pepper get together, so, I would say go for it.  The fun only continues into BARE IT ALL, where you get to watch Reese in protective mode...VERY SEXY!

Get started on the series NOW....You might finish just in time for GETTING ROWDY.....

Um....I don't even know what to say other than "OH ROWDY"...hee hee...He is JUST SO DAMN SEXY!!  I don't think I will ever forget him and he is holding a top spot on my Top Hero List for life.  You just have to read this book to figure it out, but I am SOOOOO in love with Rowdy!!

Charismatic bar owner Rowdy Yates isn't the kind of man women say no to. So when he approaches waitress Avery Mullins, he fully expects to get her number. However, the elusive beauty has her reasons for keeping her distance-including a past that might come back to haunt them both.

Avery spends her nights working for tips...and trying to forget the secret Rowdy is determined to unearth. But when history threatens to repeat itself, Avery grows to rely on Rowdy's protective presence. As the sparks between them ignite, she will be forced to choose between the security she's finally found...and the passion she's always wanted.

If you have read the series from the beginning, you will understand my feelings for Rowdy Yates, Big Brother, Protector, and all around Bad Ass of Sexiness.  He can be mean if he has to be, he will tell you like it is, which he does with Avery, but he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and that means more to me than anything.  Plus, a shirtless Rowdy  isn't exactly a BAD thing.

Rowdy and Avery meet in book one, RUN THE RISK, and into book two, BARE IT ALL, we get a few encounters, where they sniff around each other, him wanting her and not lying about it, her wanting him, and holding him at arms length.  Then we get to GETTING ROWDY, where he is now the owner of the bar she was working in, and she is promoted to Bartender, but they are still playing the cat and mouse games, even though I don't know how she held off for so long.

One of my favorite scenes is when she walks in on him and...ahem...another woman...I was ready to throw down, but poor Avery had been pushing him away and really had no claim, but I was still ready to claw some hair, or slap Rowdy...but I understand where he was coming from and I love him so much, so I forgave him.

Lets just say that little encounter knocks Avery on her ass, and let's just say there are some OTHER issues with Phantom Phone Calls, and Creeps stalking Avery, which kicks Rowdy into protective gear, and the two can't help but fall into bed...hee hee...THANK GOD!!

Aside from my Love of Rowdy, the Book was excellent, the plot-line was right on, and kept me guessing as to WHAT THE HECK just happened, and the Chemistry between Avery and Rowdy...Well..IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS!!

Great Read, Sexy, Funny and Rowdy is so friggin charming, you won't be able to resist!  Pre-Order TODAY!!

Happy Reading Ladies!!

Camden Webber is an FBI agent with a massive chip on his shoulder—namely not being able to forget the woman whose usual inability to say no didn’t keep her from shooting down his proposal five years before. Though he has jaded views on weddings and marriage, Cam agrees to stand at his best friend’s side.
When Nora and Camden are thrown together at an engagement dinner, despite their tumultuous romantic history, they devise a plan to break up the ill-suited bride and groom. As the big day nears, emotions hit a breaking point, proving that wedding planning is more suited to a reality show and while happy endings are optional, they exist amidst the rubble, if the couple looks hard enough.

Tall, blonde, and with legs for miles, she may look like his every fantasy, but he knows she’s not really visiting for the famed Elvis Week. Though dangerously drawn to his new guest, Tony will do anything to protect his job . . . especially if it means sleeping with the enemy.
Business strategist Randa Whitmore never meant to be undercover in Memphis. In August. Sweating her expensive spa treatments away. But snagging another perfect hotel location for her father’s empire means using all the tricks in her designer arsenal. And even though the sexy, tattooed manager seems oblivious to her charms, Randa’s prepared to bring out the big guns—just so long as she can stay objective and out of Tony’s muscled arms. After all, it’s just business, right?

More about Tony:
1. He loves books and a bloodhound named Misty. And he’s keeping an eye on guest Randa Whitmore.
Randa Whitmore’s shoes had probably cost more than everything in this apartment combined. Of course, when they looked like they did, thanks to those crazy long legs, they were probably worth every penny. Might even be priceless, like works of art. He had a feeling their appeal had a lot more to do with the legs than the shoes. When she’d stretched her legs out to conquer the lobby floor, one step and hip shake at a time, it had taken nearly all of his self-control to keep his mouth from dropping open. Strong reactions like that didn’t happen often, but he took it as another encouraging sign that the numbness he felt was fading. At the same time, it scared him that a woman so far from his type nearly had him drooling on the front desk.
Misty sighed heavily as she meandered in and rested her head against the cushions by his feet.
He shook his head and lifted his feet out of her way. She crawled up and circled three times before she curled into a ball and blinked sleepily at him. There was something about the way those damn bows trembled and her soft brown eyes focused on his face. Now he’d be contorted into an S but Misty was happy. He scooted his feet under her head, muttering, “Silly dog, you should not be this cute,” and felt some of the tension that came from too much time spent with people—noisy, demanding, unpredictable people—ease.

2. He looks good in a bathing suit. Very good.
“Was that an a-ha moment or a mosquito?”
Randa took a deep breath and opened her eyes to see Tony standing next to the lounger.
Then she forgot every worry she’d ever had and most of everything she knew.
Because if Tony lost his job running the Rock’n’Rolla Hotel, he had a future in underwear modeling. His swim trunks rode low on his hips and even though she’d seen swimsuits that showed a whole lot more of what a man was working with, she’d never seen another man with a body like his.
In her experience, handsome men were either gym rats or couch potatoes. She’d seen a lot of manscaping in her time too: hairless chests, spray tans, and even hair plugs once upon a time.
Out of the Hawaiian shirt and khakis, Tony was perfectly imperfect. His olive skin was lightly tan. Black ink swirled up his left arm. This close she could make out the words “Semper Fi” and then what looked like names, all in a simple script. She wanted to touch his tattoo, to trace her fingers up his arm. She wanted to feel his skin. Black curls covered his pecs and trickled to a thin line down his abdomen to disappear into . . .
God, help me. Randa felt the need to fan her face or stick her tongue out to pant. August in Memphis might camouflage her reaction, but she hadn’t known heat until Tony stood in front of her with no shirt on.

3. He knows when to seize the moment.
“There’s this one other thing I’ve been dying to do.”
“Yes.” Randa nodded her head. She had no idea what it was, but she was ready.
Tony squeezed his eyes shut for just a second. The sound he made when he opened them again was somewhere between a laugh and a moan. Maybe it was both. Randa understood exactly what that felt like.
He pressed forward to kiss her again, his hand a hot support against the back of her head and his lips aggressively seductive. This time he coaxed her lips open and teased her tongue with his. Each tentative touch sent a shiver of awareness through her. She wanted to press her breasts against his chest, get closer, so much closer, but the seat belt pinned her down. Her breath was long gone when Tony ended the kiss, his breath coming in quiet pants as he stared into her eyes, but when his hand rested on her knee she tried to gasp. And when he touched her thigh, lightly rubbing his hand on bare skin, she lost her mind.
She actually bit her lip to keep from moaning like a porn star. Because a man touched her thigh. It was a little like she was back in high school but so much hotter.
Seduced in front of a bookstore. Did it get any better? More private, certainly. But better, no way.
