Sweet Cowboy Christmas
Sweet, Texas # 3.5
By: Candis Terry
Releasing November 25th, 2014
Avon Impulse

Mistletoe, holly, and cowboys, oh my! Christmas in Texas has never been sweeter.

Years ago, Chase Morgan traded in his dusty cowboy boots for the shimmering lights of New York City and a fast track up the corporate ladder. But when his shiny life is turned on end just in time for Christmas, Chase knows he needs to reevaluate even if that means going home to Texas to endure his least favorite holiday.

When Mr. Tall, Dark, and Smoking Hot walks through her door at the Magic Box Guest Ranch, Faith Walker sees just another handsome, rich exec looking to play cowboy for a week-at her expense. She’s sure the grumpy, but sexy as hell Scrooge will put a crimp in her holly jolly plans. Until a sizzling kiss has her seeing him in a new light.

Chase is haunted by secrets, and even though it goes entirely against her “hands off the guests” rule Faith is tempted to help him leave the past behind. As the magic of the season swirls around them, she is determined to succeed because now she is certain one sweet, cowboy Christmas will never be enough

SWEET COWBOY CHRISTMAS is a feel-good Holiday Romance that warms the heart.

Oh Candis, how you continue to write these Sexy as Sin heroes who make my heart race, and leave me wanting MORE? Chase Morgan is a cowboy in sheeps clothing...or an Armani Suit, who is in need of a little R&R, after suffering a heath scare. Thinking he is headed to Sweet, Texas to figure out where his life is headed, he finds himself going head to head with Faith Walker, the stubborn owner of the Magic Box Ranch...who isn't all too fond of the "Loafer Wearing, Richie Rich types".

Let me just say, these two had me cracking up...and the sexual tension was on HIGH SIZZLE from the moment their eyes met!

With Candis Terry's trademark humor, and a bit of Christmas magic, SWEET COWBOY CHRISTMAS is not to be missed!

Welcome Paige Walker Marshall (heroine from Home Sweet Home/For Love and Honor Anthology)

"The holidays can be so stressful. Since my hot hubby, Aiden Marshall, and I own and operate an apple orchard and the Honey Hill Bed and Breakfast, we are always busy. Okay, I’ll admit some of that time (maybe a lot) is spent heating up the sheets. So I like to keep (other) things fast and simple.

Here’s an easy recipe that not only tastes great, it’s also a wonderful gift for party attendees, co-workers, or the lady who grooms your dog. And everybody knows chocolate is an aphrodisiac, right? I suggest you indulge with a glass of bubbly and that special someone. Enjoy!"

I can't wait to read this one!!!
I LOVE the idea of the fudge and cookie cutters!!! Definitely going to steal that one!
I don't really have a special dessert that I make every year. I'm always trying out new things...Heres one that my granddaughter and I are doing... Can't eat them but I bet they smell amazing!

Cinnamon Tree Ornaments
1 cup applesauce
1-1 1/4 cup (130 grams) ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground cloves (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the applesauce, cinnamon, and cloves (if using). It may take a few minutes for the mixture to come together. You want the dough to be able to form a ball without being too sticky. Add additional applesauce or cinnamon if needed. You can mix the dough by hand, it may just take longer.
Sprinkle a clean surface with cinnamon (like you would with flour while rolling out pie dough). Place the dough on the surface and sprinkle with more cinnamon. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to 1/4 inch thick, sprinkling with more cinnamon to keep from sticking.
Cut out into desired shapes and place on the prepared sheet pan so that they aren't touching. Use a skewer to poke a hole into each ornament (to attach string). Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until rock hard.
Loop a decorative string through the ornament and hang on your tree.
Notes: Ornaments may also be dried at room temperature over several days.

Ornaments are not extremely fragile, but they can break. Handle with care.

Do not eat.

Can't wait to read this! And fudge - yum! My big contribution to baking is Tollhouse cookies with some added mini chips & butterscotch chips. No one complains! lol

I love cut out sugar cookies, and I make Rollo treats. You lay out small twist pretzels on a cookie sheet. Top with a Rollo. Put in the oven just enough to soften the Rollo. Take out and push a half walnut or pecan down on the Rollo. Let cool and harden. Yum!

Love the cookie cutter fudge idea! I have heard of taking pepperment candys and putting them down in cookie cutters and melt them in the oven to make tree ornaments. I haven't tried it yet but going to. Entering under the name of Virginia
