Ryan Stone is a less than average teenager. He doesn’t have fancy clothes. He doesn’t carry around the latest smartphone and he definitely doesn’t have an MP3 player. Instead, he goes to school, does his chores and dreams of a new life away from Brookfield where he’s expected to follow in his blue collar family’s footsteps.

Hadley Carter is America’s Pop Princess. A successful recording artist living her dream with a sold-out tour and a handful of Grammy’s there isn’t much that she wants for, except love. But finding love on the road is near impossible when all she longs for are romantic dinners, a nighttime stroll on the beach and holding hands with someone who isn’t going to exploit her.

When a chance encounter introduces Ryan to Hadley, will he be like her adoring fans looking for a way in, or will it be Hadley who pursues Ryan even though it might cost her the only career she’s known.

Lost in You is a story about following your dreams, taking risks and getting lost in love

This was definitely a different kind of romance!  There are so many things that I want to say about the story, but I feel as if I will be giving too much away.  Let's just say this is a First Love/Reunion story all wrapped into one, and I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride!

As far as heroes go, well...Ryan Stone is MIGHTY fine, if I do say so myself.  I have a big place in my heart for the loner heroes, the outcasts, and that is Ryan, not that he isn't SOOO crush worthy, (See Dylan), but he is from the wrong side of town and has parents who are strict and well...a little kooky!

Then to be thrown into a crazy, secret, long-distance relationship with Hadley Carter, pop star sensation, probably not the best choice for a first love! And it was sad, and heartbreaking and REAL!  Heidi writes such an honest portrayal of a time when your heart is so broken, you try and replace that person, but in the words of Monica from LOVE AND BASKETBALL, "I've loved you since I was eleven and the shit just won't go away."

I don't want to give anymore away, I will just say that if you are a fan of the New Adult Genre, then LOST IN YOU will be a sure favorite, and I highly recommend it to all my readers.  Take a chance on Ryan and Hadley, you won't be sorry you did!

My grandma once told me that I can do anything I want, so I am.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I now live in picturesque Vermont, with my husband and two daughters. Also renting space in our home is an overhyper Beagle/Jack Russell and two Parakeets.

During the day you’ll find me behind a desk talking about Land Use. At night, I’m writing one of the many stories I plan to release or sitting courtside during either daughter’s basketball games.

I’m also an active reviewer on The Readiacs.

Sounds like an interesting read. I don't think I have read a story in this genre before, but it would be a nice introduction to it and the author. Thank you!

Not for nothing, but that was a pretty vague review. Did you read it completely? I check this blog frequently to see what the current buzz is and after seeing plenty of other reviews that were quality reviews, seeing one like this is disappointing. Maybe take another swing at it?

Hey Brandon...want to quiz me? Ask me anything!

Unfortunately if I shared too much, the whole story would be given away!!

Sounds very cool. I love the premise. I wrote a romantic suspense with a similar idea way back when (which shall remain in a drawer LOL).

I appreciate the vagueness. A lot of reviews reveal too much. I have taken to skimming reviews in order to not read too many details. I like when the reviewer tells us how the book made them feel and what it compares to. Thank you for the excellent review and for the giveaway! And I just want to add that the cover is super adorable!

I thought kids had ipods and smartphones to play their music these days. People look at me funny when I pull out my little $20 mp3 player from 4 years ago that holds about 200 songs... Anyway, sounds like me as a kid. I never had the latest technological contraption. I'm an adult and I still don't so an e-reader would be nice. :) Thank you for hosting this giveaway!
