This is such a true account of trying to move on from the loss of a spouse, and the ups and downs of "moving on" with your life. What if you started to grow attracted to your dead wife's best friend? This is what happens with Michael Young and Angie Bartlett, and the push and pull of emotions and feelings that they have for each other is excruciating to read. Your heart just breaks and breaks and breaks.
I truly enjoyed this upcoming release by Sarah Mayberry, and yes...It had me tearing up at least three or four times while trying to get through all the pain that these two young, attractive people were feeling. The guilt, the betrayal, the sexual attraction...it was one of the most well-written books on this subject that I have ever read and I was routing for Michael and Angie completely.
I couldn't imagine being in this situation and I don't even want to think about how it would feel to be in either of their shoes. Sarah Mayberry certainly covers all bases of emotions that either of them could be feeling and she will have you sucked into this story, not wanting to put it down for a minute until you know for sure how it will end.
I HIGHLY recommend this New Release by Sarah Mayberry and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.
