New Release: Touch of Red by Laura Griffin (Tracers #12) @Laura_Griff #newrelease #suspense #romantic #thriller #giveaway #mustread

TOUCH OF RED
A Tracers Novel
Laura Griffin
Releasing Oct 31, 2017
Pocket Books

When crime scene investigator Brooke Porter arrives at the home of a murdered woman, the only thing more shocking than the carnage is the evidence that someone escaped the scene. But where is this witness now? A thorough search of the area yields more questions than answers, and before Brooke even packs up her evidence kit, she’s made it her goal to find the witness and get them out of harm’s way.

Homicide detective Sean Byrne has seen his share of bloody crime scenes, but this one is particularly disturbing, especially because Brooke Porter is smack in the middle of it. Sean has had his eye on the sexy CSI for months, and he’s determined to help her with her current case—even if it means putting his attraction on hold so he and Brooke can track down a murderer. But as the investigation—and their relationship—heats up, Sean realizes that keeping his work and his personal life separate is more complicated than he ever imagined; especially when the killer sets his sights on Brooke.

At Close Range by Laura Griffin (Tracers #11) @Laura_Griff @TastyBookTours #newrelease #review #tracers #romancesuspense #1click #mustread

When her investigation brings them together,
the sparks between them quickly get out of control.

AT CLOSE RANGE
A Tracers Novel
Laura Griffin
Releasing Jan 31st, 2017
Pocket Books

New York Times bestselling author Laura Griffin “delivers the goods” (Publishers Weekly) again with the eleventh title in the gritty, heart-pounding Tracers series.

When a lakeside tryst ends in a double murder, police detective Daniele Harper arrives on the scene determined to get answers. Clues are everywhere, but nothing adds up. Dani turns to the Delphi Center crime lab for help, but soon regrets it when her secret attraction to their chief firearms examiner threatens to distract her from the most important case of her career.

As a ballistics expert and former Navy SEAL, Scott Black knows firearms, and he knows he can help Dani unravel her case. Scott has managed to hide his interest in his best friend’s younger sister for years, but when her investigation brings them together, the sparks between them quickly get out of control. Scott resolves to keep his hands off Dani and his eyes on the goal—identifying a killer. But when that killer zeroes in on Dani, all bets are off. There isn’t a line Scott won’t cross to convince Dani to trust him so that he can help her take down a ruthless murderer who has her in his sights.

Laura Griffin's AT CLOSE RANGE is a captivating and thrilling roller coaster of a ride with so many twist and turns...I NEVER wanted to get off!

AT CLOSE RANGE kicks off with Dani Harper, a new detective from a law enforcement family, and on of our favorite characters, Scott Black happens to be the best friend of one of her older brothers.  She's known Scott for the last 15 years, and she hadn't seen him since a wild and unexpected New Years Eve kiss the two shared a few months ago.

I think one of the reasons that I love (and when I say love, I mean LOVE) Laura Griffin's Tracers series (and really ALL of her books) is because she is able to weave a remarkable romance into the INSANE plot that she has laid out before us, and it ALWAYS just works.  I am never saying, oh there was too much of this and not enough of that, NO, they are ALL top notch, amazing romance suspense reads and I encourage ALL of you to go forth, buy EVERY Tracers romance (including THREAD OF FEAR and WHISPER OF WARNING...cause Jack and Fiona...come on), and do a weekend binge on the Tracers, you will NEVER be the same!

AT CLOSE RANGE was, in my opinion, on of the most romantic of the Tracers.  There was just something so special about Dani and Scott, and I was literally thinking about them when I wasn't reading, and that is when I know that I am reading a romance that will stay with me always.

Between the lustful looks and the sizzling, stolen kisses, Laura Griffin gives us a story line that had me thinking more than ever about the case.  I was so involved in the story, I found myself trying to connect the pieces and think one step ahead, but she kept on throwing so many curve balls at the reader, I was holding on until the very last pages, watching it all unfold.

After the many many years that I have been devouring Laura's romance suspense novels, I think it's safe to say that when it comes down to the smallest details and an interwoven plot that keeps the reader hooked, Griffin is untouched!

I can highly recommend the Tracers series to ALL readers of romance, suspense, fiction and all the stuff in between, literally my Grandfather loves this series, and if that isn't a selling point, I don't know what is.  They can ALL be read as standalones, so you can start anywhere, but EVERY and I mean EVERY Tracers romance is insanely engaging and a MUST read in my book!  Don't miss out! Start today!

A gripping new romantic thriller from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Laura Griffin...

The moment detective Reed Novak steps onto the crime scene, he knows the case is going to rock his world. A beautiful young woman murdered at home. No sign of forced entry. No motive. She’s obviously not the killer’s first victim, and Reed’s instincts tell him she won’t be his last. Reed’s first clue comes via a mysterious text that links to a dating profile, but even more intriguing than the clue is the person who sent it.

As a white-hat hacker in the Delphi Center’s cyber investigation unit, Laney Knox sneaks into some of the deepest, darkest corners of the Internet looking for predators. Laney would prefer to stay away from Austin PD’s most recent murder case, but she can’t ignore the chilling similarities between that crime and her own brutal attack years ago. Laney offers to help the sexy lead detective, but he wants more from her than just a promising tip—Reed wants her trust. Laney resists, but as their relationship deepens she’s tempted to reveal the closely guarded secrets that could make her a key witness…or the killer’s next victim.

It amazes me each time I delve into a Tracers Series romance, because I always say "well, she can't top the last one, that one was a thrill-ride, and the romance was sweet and sexy and I held on to every word.  But then she comes out with the next, and you say to yourself...Holy Crap...How does she do it EVERY TIME!!!

Laura Griffin will literally have you changing all your passwords with DEEP DARK.  She writes a novel that is straight from the headlines, so believable, so real, and so so creepy.  I swear, I will be looking over my should for at least the next week!!

Laney Knox was KICK ASS!!  I love a little firecracker heroine and Laney was it!  She sure had Detective Reed Novak on his toes throughout the entire book!  I loved that Laura gave us a new dynamic to a real connection between a jaded Detective and a spunky white-hat hacker!  The sparks, the chemistry, the small moments...I swooned, I melted, I LOVED!!!

And the research that goes into every page, Laura Griffin doesn't cut ANY CORNERS.  She knows her stuff, and she does her research, and when you are reading, it's all so real, and so there, you can't help but feel like it's a true story.  She is just TOP NOTCH!!  I can't say it any other way!!

To say DEEP DARK is my favorite of the Tracers is just unfair, because I have literally been an addict since the beginning (UNTRACEABLE, but you actually should read THREAD OF FEAR and WHISPER OF WARNING cause well...Jack Bowman...hello!!).  It's a series that you want to buy, a series that you NEED TO BUY!  Even my Grandpa is a Tracer-a-holic!!

In the ninth romantic suspense novel in the New York Times bestselling Tracers series, author Laura Griffin brings back her elite cadre of forensic experts as they hunt down the most brutal serial killer yet.

The local sheriff has a suspect all picked out—ex-Marine and current security expert Liam Wolfe. Despite all her digging, Tara knows very little about Liam when she shows up at his sprawling Texas compound, which serves as headquarters for Wolfe Security, and she’s surprised by her intense physical reaction to him.

As she and Liam grow closer, Tara finds herself depending on his skills and expertise to help her track a killer. But when another body turns up, Tara must decide if she can trust the man who’s quickly stealing her heart.

The ninth novel in the Tracers series that combines gripping plot twists with spine-tingling romance, Shadow Fall once again proves that “Laura Griffin gets better with each book” (The Romance Reviews).

If I have to choose one word to describe SHADOW FALL, it's ADDICTING...Even when I had to force myself to put it down...all I could do was think about the plot, the characters, the case, the mystery...seriously addicting!

Liam and Tara were sizzling. The chemistry between them from the very first meeting was electric...someone get the fire hose! The one thing that I love about Laura Griffin's writing is that she balances the Suspense and the Love Story with such ease, never letting one over power the other, but letting them flow perfectly in balance.

The pace was perfect, with just the right amount of action, emotion and sexy kisses to keep this a page turner. Laura Griffin knows just when to give a little more to keep the readers interest, never letting your attention waver from the story line. I swear...I had so many possible suspects right up until the very end. Laura Griffin killed it!

SHADOW FALL is officially one of my favorite of the Tracer's Series and a Top Tasty Read for 2015.

Tara looked out the window again and realized her pulse was still thrumming. He unnerved her. It wasn’t just his size, it was his attitude. Maybe she was self-conscious because he’d caught her off guard. She was definitely embarrassed that she’d pulled her weapon on him.

She adjusted the vent and got a waft of hot air. His attitude bothered her, but she liked his truck. It smelled like leather and earth and felt deliciously warm. She forced herself to ignore the flutter of nerves generated by being alone in the dark with him. The nerves weren’t from fear but something else. And she wondered which was worse, being afraid of a man she was investigating or being attracted to him?

“You shouldn’t come out here alone.”

She looked at him. “Why not?”

“We’ve got more than a few meth heads around here. You don’t want to walk up on something, not without backup.”

She watched his face in the dimness, uneasy with the protective tone of his voice.

“We confirmed the ID today,” she said.

“I know.”

That ticked her off.

“Won’t be long till the media has it,” he added.

“Where are you getting your information?”

He didn’t answer.

“And the other day,” she said, “how’d you know we were here, me and M.J.? Are you having us tailed?”

Even if he was, he’d probably never admit it. But she at least needed to ask and get his reaction. Shadowing investigators could definitely be considered suspicious behavior.

Although she had to be honest with herself. She didn’t consider him a real suspect. Despite his links to the victim, she simply didn’t feel it.

“I’m guessing you filmed us approaching your property and ran my plate,” she said.

The corner of his mouth lifted. “Nothing that cloak-and- dagger.” He glanced at her. “I’m friends with Crystal.”

“Who’s Crystal?”

“She waited on you at the Waffle Stop. Bright red hair, eyebrow ring.”

She turned to face the window. “Small-town grapevine. And here I’ve been all impressed with your spying abilities.”

“You should be.” He pulled up to her Explorer and parked. “We’re the best there is.”

She looked at him in the darkness, so confident it bordered on arrogance. And the crazy thing was she believed him. She bought into it completely—he was that good.

His eyes locked on hers, and the air between them felt charged with electricity. His gaze dropped to her mouth, and her heart skittered. Was he going to kiss her? He eased closer, watching her, making her heart pound.
