Why is it that every time I read a new Megan Erickson Mechanics of Love Romance, I always find myself saying "Now THIS one is my favorite!"  But in all reality...DIRTY DEEDS is definitely my favorite of the three (so far), and that is saying so much because they are ALL so good!

I loved Alex as a character from the beginning, but DIRTY TALK solidified my love and DIRTY DEEDS just made it into a full-out Girl Crush...she is funny, sweet, spunky and very unsure of herself, but she sure loves with all her heart!

The chemistry literally caused a combustion of epic proportions...it was THAT HOT!  Megan knows how to keep the chemistry on low sizzle until it needs to be turned to high, and with Alex and Spencer, the low sizzle was already hot!  And I have to admit that ALL of my celebrity boyfriends are British, so Spencer just DID IT for me...in all the best ways!

Yes, Alex and Spencer were crazy smoking hot when they were ripping clothes off...well, all over the place...but the humor that Megan draws out and the emotion packed into DIRTY DEEDS was just the perfect amount to make my heart squeeze in my chest, hoping (HOPING) that all would end ok for these two semi-broken people...oh I was cheering!

I am so happy that I discovered Megan Erickson through her BOWLER UNIVERSITY Series, and I am even more happy that she ended up writing the Payton Brothers romances....Never can get enough of Megan Erickson's writing...So worth the time, money and swoon-worthy endings!

Brent didn’t answer him, didn’t even look at him over his shoulder.

And that was when a small sliver of apprehension trickled down his spine. “Brent—”

His brother whirled around and held his arm out as they walked past a Bronco their dad had been working on. “I think it’s better if you take this one.”

Cal squinted into the sun and when his eyes adjusted to the light, her legs were the first thing he saw. And he knew—he fucking knew—because how many times had he sat in class in high school staring at those legs in a little skirt, dreaming about when he could get back between them? It’d been a lot.

His eyes traveled up those bare legs to a tiny pair of denim shorts, up a tight tank top that showed a copious amount of cleavage, and then to that face that he’d never, ever forget as long as he lived.

He never thought he’d see Jenna MacMillan again. And now, there she was, standing in front of his garage next to a Dodge Charger, her brunette hair in a wavy mass around her shoulders.

After meeting Cal and Brent, Max's brothers from MAKE IT RIGHT, which is the second book in the Bowler University New Adult Series by Megan, I said...damn those two sexy Mechanics need books, especially Cal.  I wanted to know why he was such a grump...and bet he was good in bed...hee hee...and if you were wondering...he is...so so good,and very sexy in all his grumpiness!

DIRTY THOUGHTS is such a great romance and just what I needed to get me out of my slump.  Cal and Jenna were so easy to love and Megan gives just the right amount of hint here and there to keep you reading.  DIRTY THOUGHTS was a bit of an addiction!  

The story line flowed perfectly, and the surprises just kept coming.  Cal and Jenna have the past to compete with, and it was a bitter-sweet past, but the good sometimes outweighs the bad, and in this case, Cal just needs to get out of his own way!  I will say that Dylan (the asshole) or Dill Pickle as Delilah refers to him as, doesn't make it easy for Cal to take the high road.  Like Cal doesn't have enough on his plate with all the "Family" drama that comes to his door...and it was a SHOCK for those of us who read MAKE IT RIGHT.

Readers who love a second chance romance will want to add DIRTY THOUGHTS to their Summer Must Read list!  If you are a lover of Rachel Gibson, you will want to give Megan Erickson a try!

Megan Erickson is playing with the big girls with MAKE IT LAST...bringing another fantastic addition to the Bowler University series, solidifying her place among some of my favorite New Adult Authors!  Christina Lee and Erin McCarthy Fans will fall in LOVE with Erickson's "real" approach to New Adult romance, and her heroes have all the qualities that make a smokin hot book boyfriend (says the cougar)!

Cam and Tate have a hurtful past, which comes to light little by little throughout MAKE IT LAST, where we get to watch them form a truce while he is home for the summer helping his mother, and she is stuck in their hometown taking care of her sick father and younger brother.  Let's just say that my heart was broken from the first time they see each other after four years...yea...talk about an overload of emotion...and it doesn't stop there.

My favorite part of the book was the two of them playing Utope, which is like a "Sims" game, and those small "things I want to say to you, but can't to your face" moments just stole my heart.  Talk about loving someone so much, you will go to lengths to make sure they have a better life...Tate is someone I admire and I don't say that a lot about heroines, but I would definitely invite her to hang with my chicks 

I highly recommend the complete Bowler University Series, as a series whore..I say start at the beginning, but buy them all, cause you wont be able to stop once you start!!
