As far as Biker Series goes, this one has certainly been a heck of a lot of fun! Sexy, Smooth and Sweet, Rachael Johns installment of the Deacons of Bourbon Street is not to be missed.
If you have read the first in the series, MAKE YOU BURN by Megan Crane, then you would have already met Travis "Cash" Sinclair, one of the four original members who have come back together in order to say goodbye to their dead president. Cash has inherited some of the "Deacons" property, which happens to be in use by Billie Taylor, an art gallery owner, who also lives above the shop. Just so happens that Cash is going to be staying there as well.
Their chemistry isn't as "explosive" as Ajax and Sophie (MAKE YOU BURN), but more of a slow sizzle. But when they finally come together, it was sensual, sultry and just flat out HOT! I love that book one was dirty and raunchy, and book two has more of a "Sweet" vibe. I love that we really get the different "author voices" with each installment, so there is something for everyone. Sometimes I was Dirty, sometimes I want Sweet...The Deacons of Bourbon Street Series is the Perfect Combination!! Great for a reader newbie to the MC World!!
