For such a simple story, two ex's go on a cross-country road trip together, it was so much more than that. Lauren Layne gives you a hero and heroine who have loved each other since before they even knew that loving someone meant. She gives you characters who have real emotions, characters who hurt, and feel and hold grudges, and deep down still love each other like crazy.
As the story is broken down, you get to see little flashbacks of the past, giving an extra insight into the hero and heroines lives, and how the past went down, leaving them where they are at the current time.
I simply LOVED this book. It was complex, but just all in all a love story. It broke me, and made me tear up, but made me smile, and made my heart hurt. But best of all, I just LOVED it, and I loved Reece. He was a hero you just will find yourself falling in love with!
