I really liked Phin and Layla, as individuals and as a couple.  I thought the story line flowed nicely, not to fast and not too slow, but progressed nicely, and I swear I was brought back to the days when you just met a new guy and all you wanted to do was see him ALL THE TIME!  Brought me back to the old days!

HER BEST SHOT is a quick read, and a fun start to this new three book series by Schroeder, and I will certainly be devouring the other two, as I did with HER BEST SHOT!

Shannyn Schroeder is a former high school and middle school English teacher. She holds a BA in English and MAs in Special Education and Gifted Education. She currently works as an editor for an education company and juggles writing around her kids’ schedules. In her spare time, Shannyn loves to bake and watches far too much TV, especially cop shows.
