In all honesty, I wasn't sure I was going to like REAPER'S STAND...I think I was in a mood when I first started, so I put it down and when I picked it back up...I FLEW through it!
Didn't think I would LOVE Pic Hayes as the hero...he had his moments within the series where I thought..Ok...Hot for a DAD, but meh...I don't know how I am going to LOVE him as the hero...but WHOA WAS I WRONG...I LOVED LOVED LOVED Picnic as the hero of REAPER'S STAND, which is the fourth book in the Reaper's MC Series by Joanna Wylde.
Picnic is SO MUCH MORE then I thought, and what you see isn't always what you get. My heart broke for him...missing his wife, who he's lost to cancer a few years prior to this book. He is a father who loves his girls like no other, and that is one thing that he and London have in common. He can understand why she cares so much for her niece and why she would almost kill to save her life....THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS BOOK CRAZY!!!!! I won't say a WORD about it, you MUST read for yourself...but WHAT?!? Nuts I tell ya, NUTS!And London...was pretty freakin GREAT! Not sure I could have thought up a better partner for the sexy Pic Hayes.
Yes, I did buy ALL of the Reaper's MC Romances at Audible, so I could get myself ready for REAPER'S STAND, and yes, I did already give it a re-read, cause I just loved it that much!
Oh Joanna....I DO DO DO DO DO want a Painter Book, so PLEASE put him on your list...and I can't wait to find out if we get to see what REALLY happened between Bolt and Mags...Can't leave me like this Joanna!
