New Release: SHELTER ME by Catherine Mann (A Second Chance Ranch Romance) #MeetMikeKowalski #HeroProfile #Giveaway @BerkleyRomance

From the USA Today bestselling Catherine Mann comes this beautiful, heartwarming novel about a returning soldier, the daughter of his fallen commander, and a very special dog with a mission. For fans of Jill Shalvis and Susan Mallery.

Nestled in the sunny fields of Tennessee lies the McDaniel family’s Second Chance Ranch Animal Rescue. Two new arrivals are on their way, but only one is the four-legged kind. Staff Sergeant Mike Kowalski wants only one thing after he gets home from Iraq: to sleep in a king-sized bed with clean sheets. But first, he has to hand off his fallen commander’s dog, Trooper, to his family without handing off his heart to Sierra.…

Sierra McDaniel needs a break. Her family life is crazy, and when she’s not mucking out kennels, she’s slogging through grad school. Sierra certainly doesn’t want another dog, especially one that reminds her of her father. And she definitely doesn’t want to see Mike with that charming smile of his… But Trooper has a mission of his own. Before too long Mike is moving to the ranch to lend a hand—and hoping for his own second chance with Sierra.

Packed with emotion, Catherine Mann pulls out the big guns for SHELTER ME.

As if Sierra McDaniel's didn't have enough to deal with, helping her mother with the Dog Rescue, making sure her grandfather the general doesn't wander off, making sure her younger brother doesn't become one of those kids who goes to school one day and freaks out, and making sure the bills are paid by working hard at her job...but then Mike Kowalski had to come waltzing back into her life with Trooper, the pup that her father had found overseas before he was blown up saving his men...Oh yeah...her life was just going GREAT!

Sierra was great...and the emotion that SHELTER ME brought out was so powerful, my heart literally hurt when I finished reading this Second Chance Ranch Romance from Catherine Mann.  Not only do we get a chance to watch Sierra and Mike regain that love they lost, but we watch the family dynamic between the McDaniel's Family, how they are healing, or more like just getting through each day, after losing their father/husband/son to war.

I think my favorite parts were where we get to hear from Trooper.  I swear I was almost crying as I read the epilogue.  Darn dog!

Cant wait to see what is next for this fantastic new series!

I LOVE hero bios!!!

I have four pets all have been rescued. Two dogs and two cats. But my oldest cat has my heart like no one else, including my kids. We found her when she was a day old, with her umbilical cord still attached. Everyone told us that we wouldn't be able to take care of her and that she would die.

My husband named her Angel, just in case. Seven years later, she's my greatest accomplishment. But she's the house overseer.
