So, what got you into reading? What is your one favorite book? I know I have read a lot of your favorites, but what is your #1 all time favorite one?

Ok, first book that got the teenage Lisa to become a book a holic was The Wind Blows Backward...talk about my first tortured hero!!

After college I got back into reading when my mother in law loaned me one of her romances called Not Another New Years by Christy Ridgway, who is amazing by the way! And believe me it was quite embarrassing to know that my MIL had read this romance, let's just say the sex is....WHOA!

All time favorite is a tie between Just One of the Guys by Kristan Higgins and See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson

Are you tired of me yet? Thanks again for opening my eyes to so many great reads. I have read A LOT of books this year, more than any other, and YOU are a huge part of that...so thank you!

Well I have read both Just One of the Guys by Kristan Higgins and See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson thanks to you! And I can see why they would be your favorites for sure! I think its funny that your MIL gave you such a SEXY romance to read! When I think about writing a book I freak out thinking my mom and grandma would read it and how embarrassing would that be to have them read sex scenes!

Christy Reece...I had NO idea that her books were AMAZING and I actually first read the 7th book in her Last Chance Rescue Series first and then had to make my way back to number one.

Also Candis Terry was actually a "new" to me author recommended by Rachel Gibson and boy am I glad I gave Second Chance at the Sugar Shack a chance...I am now a HUGE FAN!!

Kristy said...

I've read over 100 books this year, though I'm not quite sure of the exact number since I went through this reading frenzy at one point where I was reading about two books a day. I just recently got back into reading something other than textbooks and discovered Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series. I'm really liking the Stryker siblings' arc. I hope you're enjoying your blogiversary!

It looks like I'll have to bump up the Rescue series on my TBR list.

I'm heading off for dinner now and then a book. Thank you for a fun and interactive giveaway. Happy reading everyone.

Shouldn't a person be excluded once they've won in the same contest - seems a little unfair to everyone else - and if it was me I'd give some of them back for others to have a chance. Just sayin'!
