Good question! I would have to say that my favorite song is Silent Night, especially at church when the lights get turned out & only the lights to the Christmas tree are shinning. To me, it is a beautiful moment

Congrats to Stephanie!!! I would say "All I want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey. This song always puts me in a Christmas mood.

All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey! Wow, she's kind of popular I see. I like hers because I love the lyrics, that special someone is more important than any gift and it puts me in the Xmas spirit, too. Actually I have it on repeat on my Ipod along with Carol of the Bells, another favorite and Sleigh ride :D
So glad I found A Tasty Read! I'd love to join!!! ;D

I have to agree with Rach, Silent Night is my favorite as well. I love it being the last song at Church on Christmas Eve and everyone holding their candles lighting them from the other people in the congregation and singing it with no instruments or anything. This year I have to be in our nursery and wont be able to sing it with the church and I am really gonna miss it.

White Christmas. I sing it 24/7 around the holidays. Nothing beats a classic Christmas with voices like Bing Crosby and Judy garland.

Amanda, next year I am going to church with you...that sounds like an amazing time!!

Jen...Thats gonna be a long trip home if you are singing White Christmas all the way there!! XOXO

My favorite song is "O Holy Night". I loved that song growing up and still do. We would put up the tree, get out the Christmas albums, and the stereo would be playing until Christmas Day. I also remember that song being sung at Midnight Mass. Our church choir sounded so impressive! It was a big deal for a child to go to Midnight Mass. Oh, the wonderful memories it brings back!

I'll be home for Christmas....
Sometimes it is hard to all be together so remembering each loved one is important...."even if it is in our dreams."

My favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night, especially when my son is singing it. He moved away from home after college and after 8 years away, he and his wife and daughter have returned home!! It has been wonderful having him sit at the piano and sing again. Nothing like getting me in the Christmas spirit with him singing and his daughter dancing.

I never really thought about it until Daniel came home from school singing "Jingle Bell Rock". I googled the words so I could sing along with him. He is an amazing little creature. This Christmas we should totally go house to house singing. We will definetly get some cookies and milk, at least Daniel will. Maybe he will share with us.

Cindy and Karen, I agree about "O Holy Night", it always makes it feel like Christmas and with special memories like both of you have, how can you not feel good when you hear this song!

Jeanne, you are spot on with "Ill be Home for Christmas", it is exactly how I feel traveling to NY this year since moving to NC last February. This year it is all about Family and seeing everyone again!

Maureen, I have always loved "Jingle Bell Rock" from all of my elementary school concerts, but I think the cutest little boy ever singing it in his birthday suit, shot it right to my top favorite!!
