His laughter, it didn’t really sound the smallest bit amused. “Christ. You’re done here.”

“Ah, no. I’m actually not. Now see, this is where we have a problem.” I folded my arms. Then unfolded them because like fuck I’d look defensive. He was the one in the wrong, not me. “You’re not prepared to take me, or my feelings, seriously. “That so?” he asked, leaning down so that we were almost nose to nose.

“That’s so, baby.” I play-punched him in the shoulder, which it should be noted, I barely came up to. Okay, so maybe the alcohol on a mostly empty stomach had made me slightly/lots braver/sillier. “So why don’t you take your little caveman jealous tantrum bullshit somewhere else. See, I do this funny thing I like to refer to as whatever the fuck I want. Understand?”

He just stared.

“And as pretty as you are with your beard and your muscles, you are too damn tricky and . . . complicated and shit for me.”

Can I just say...

FAVORITE OF THE SERIES!! That's right..Benji my love...DEEP was everything I wanted it to be and MORE! I flew through the pages...it was that good! Lizzy doesn't disappoint...she rocked...I think she is my favorite of the four girls, even though I love them all...she just scored a place on my Top Heroines List (very few have made it there), and Ben...I have been lovin him from afar for so long...Big, Grumpy man that he is...and the texts...LOVED that we got to see what they had been writing to one another during the other books...hee hee

Kylie takes you for a ride high on emotions and hormones (poor Lizzy..been there babe..TWICE...I know how you feel!) The ups and downs, the in's and outs, the 'Will Benji ever show me what's behind that beard' held me from page one through the end!

I loved, loved, loved DEEP and I SOOOO hope that Kylie will give Sam and Vaughn their own books...will just have to wait and see!

Definitely a MUST read series and DEEP makes the Top Tasty List of 2015!

Well...Now I want MORE!  I have read a few other reviews that said they wanted more of Sam and Emma and I have to agree. 

The story is sweet and not as "hot" as I was expecting, but I would have liked a bit more of a background or more of a build up or more sexy times...even more of Sam stripping!  

If you are a fan of novella's for the quick read aspect, this one is a definite Lunch Time squeeze, and a fun story at that!

There was something about this room she hated.
And very little else to do inside besides be together. Which he was sure she also must hate after the way he’d hurt her before.He had one word for her and feared like a little girl that saying it would be the one thing to push her away for good. But he had to say it.
“No.”This wasn’t a place to enter on the premise that you trusted a person. You either went in here not caring a damn about what might happen, like most of the show patrons he’d brought, or fully aware and in control of yourself. No in between. Sam had watched her toe the line throughout their entire conversation.“I won’t take you in there. You’re not ready. Don’t be stubborn and ask me how I know that. I just do.”“It’s not up to you right now.” Her lips stopped speaking and it was clear that was the last thing she would say until he either followed her in or left her in the hallway, alone.
Like fire that realized it was on dry ground and free to burn, the thought of being in there with her jolted his body awake. Years old, buried and desperate desire, came out of hiding. He would put himself through hell to be able to have her and not hurt her. But standing directly behind Emma as she unlocked and opened the black door, he saw how he still engulfed her.
 From her petite shoulders came a giant heave as she took the first step inside.
In that instant, he knew she was wrong. He could and should choose not to go inside, but he did have something to show her. That she was safe when they were together. He couldn’t believe that was what this had turned into but found some small ground to stand on and be thankful. He wouldn’t piss this opportunity away. A man took responsibility for his actions, no matter how far in the past they’d happened and how much time he’d spent racking up distance, hiding. Sam would be the ambassador of control and restraint once they were on the other side of this door.He had to prod her forward the next step. And the next, which set off a mile-long trail of red flags.He waited and let her be the one to turn and close the door.As soon as he heard it click, he slid his hands inside the tight pants pockets and held them there.The room was dark and chilly; her breathing echoed in his ears. He went in search of the light switch. The low bulb setting purposely only lit the room one shade lighter but it was enough to see the shadow dampening her pretty face.
“Okay,” she said out loud, like she was her own coach. “Okay.”“We’re out of here, Emma. Now.”She held up her small hand and he’d have latched onto it had his hands been available. “No. We’re not leaving. I’m fine. I just needed a second,” she said. That wasn’t her “I’ve got this” voice. She was acting and not doing a very bang-up job of it.
Sam had no choice but to touch.He fumbled around and found her other hand and took it into his, receiving an instantaneous jolt of comfort. He hoped he affected her the same way but couldn’t be sure. She was awfully still.Emma looked at the neon hands of the wall clock. “We have one hour before the second show lets out,” she said.
“I’m assuming you have some plan, Emma.” God, please tell him she had a plan. Because the only one he had was to let go and keep his hands to himself, no matter what.She stared through him and scanned the near nothingness of the room. “I do. I do have one. I want you to strip for me, Sam.”

So, I am about a third of the way through...I know...I used to be able to read a book a day until I had my second daughter and the Tour Company got so busy...ho hum...

Anyway...I am a HUGH Romance Suspense Fan (Christy Reece and Laura Griffin are my go to authors), but alas, Cynthia Eden rocks!  I am so thrilled that I picked up BROKEN for the tour, and am basking in the deliciousness that is Gabe...and let me tell ya...the chemistry that he and Eve have from the very beginning is suck the air out of the room kind of heat!!

Ok...I will have my full review later, but I encourage my RS fans to get this one NOW!!  If you enjoyed the LCR Series from Reece, you MUST pick up BROKEN!

Um...Can I just say how BLOWN AWAY with how amazing of a story LK wrote in just a handful of chapters. The emotion was deep, the intimacy was powerful and oh so sexy, and Charlie and Jeremy had me falling so in love right along with them.

I literally finished the novella and tweeted LK and asked if this was her first M/M romance and was SHOCKED to find out it was...she did an incredible job with the flawless execution of the sex scenes, which can sometimes come out as awkward when reading an M/M romance, but I was so lost in the Charlie/Jeremy bubble, it all just flowed so smoothly...

LOVED LOVED LOVED! LK does it again!!

I also recommend HARD TO BE GOOD to anyone who has yet to try a M/M romance, LK hits the nail on the head once again!
