Crazy for You by Rachel Lacey (Risking it All #2) #newrelease #romance #blogtour @rachelslacey @TastyBookTours

She's taking a walk on HIS wild side!

CRAZY FOR YOU
A Risking It All Novel
Rachel Lacey
Releasing March 28, 2017
Forever

“Rachel Lacey is a sure-fire star." --- Lori Wilde, New York Times bestselling author

SHE'S TAKING A WALK ON HIS WILD SIDE

Emma Rush can't remember a time when she didn't have a thing for Ryan Blake. Haven's resident bad boy is just so freakin' hot-with tattoos, a motorcycle, and enough rough-around-the-edges sexiness to melt all her self-control. Now that Emma's over being a "good girl," she needs a little help being naughty . . . and she knows just where to start.

Before Emma's brother enlisted in the military, he made Ryan promise that he would protect her from everything--including himself. When her brother doesn't come home, Ryan needs to turn his screwed-up life around to honor his pledge. But he knows he's still not the right kind of guy for someone as sweet as Emma. Only he can't stop wanting to be with her. Wanting her. Falling in love with a good girl may be the craziest risk this bad boy can take . . .

Rachel Lacey is a contemporary romance author and semi-reformed travel junkie. She's been climbed by a monkey on a mountain in Japan, gone scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, and camped out overnight in New York City for a chance to be an extra in a movie. These days, the majority of her adventures take place on the pages of the books she writes. She lives in warm and sunny North Carolina with her husband, son, and a variety of rescue pets.

I have been writing since I was fourteen – I’m not going to tell you how many years that’s been (haha) but it’s a few. (wink wink) My original stories were handwritten on loose-leaf paper tied together with yarn, and each story has its own custom cover courtesy of whatever magazine I had around. I’d cut out the main character and tape her onto the cover, and decorate around her with the title and other pictures. Oh, the days before photoshop and awesome cover designers… Anyways. I developed a deep love of romance books, as I always loved it when the heroine overcame the odds to get the man of her dreams.

That early love has developed into a passion – I continue to write contemporary romance novels. Now, as an adult who has experienced reality (not like my wildly naïve fourteen-year-old self) my characters still overcome those tough odds, but their obstacles are also very real, and sometimes very dark. However, the rewards are even sweeter.

My heroes who are swoon-worthy and handsome and gentle, who have their own issues. No domineering alpha-males from me – I’ll leave those to many other wonderful authors I know and adore. My heroines are those women who are less than perfect, with a very select few she’ll call friends. She is neither popular nor outgoing but deeply loved by those lucky enough to know her.

Right now I am hard at work on a sequel to Duly Noted as well as a second-chance romance story. I’m also tinkering on a novella which follows after Ask Me Again as many emails have come in from readers saying they hope for more from Charlotte and Company.

It’s because of wonderful readers that I continue to write and develop my stories. I absolutely adore it when fans connect with me on twitter (@HM_Shander) because I’m very chatty on there, more so than my Facebook page (hmshander). Regardless of the way you contact me, I’m sure to respond.

Nate has developed quite a playboy reputation around campus. It's not that he doesn't respect or trust women; he doesn't trust himself. With Jessie, he can be himself and explore what he’s always felt was a terrifying darkness inside him. Even when Nate begins to crave her in a way that both shocks and horrifies him, Jessie still wants to know every part of him. Testing their boundaries together will take a trust that could render them inseparable… or tear them apart.

Um....can we say LOVED this book!  Christina Lee has OUTDONE herself with PROMISE ME THIS, and that is saying A LOT, cause I have LOVED each and every book in the Between Breaths Series...But I just LOVED Nate and Jessie...like Mega Mega Swoon, someone get me a cold shower kinda love!

Not only did I think the sexy was CRAZY HOT, but the story line was laced with such emotion, and Lee has the ability to take such REAL issues that we face everyday, and make them a reality to these characters...no one is perfect...life isn't always sunshine and roses...I think that is one of the biggest draws for me...she writes REAL!

Nate is DEFINITELY making his way to the top of my Book Boyfriend List, right next to my other New Adult Boyfriend, Tyler Mann (TRUE, Erin McCarthy).  He was sexy as all get out, had some delicious muscles, a huge heart, over-protective of his mother, and a serious case of the Green Monster when it comes to Jessie...oh...and the banter between Nate and Jessie was probably the best part of the book...I LOVE a guy with a sense of humor.  And...I LOVED Jessie...I loved the way she allowed Nate to "Be Himself, his TRUE Self" with her, and she wasn't ashamed to say what she wanted, in and out of the bedroom...but in the bedroom was HOTT...like SMOKIN HOT!!

Lee has the ability to write REAL characters with REAL problems and grabs the readers attention so quickly...before you know it...you are on the last page with your heart in pieces cause you didn't want it to end.

Read this series...Please...Just read it!

Mother, wife, reader, dreamer. Christina lives in the Midwest with her husband and son--her two favorite guys. She's addicted to lip gloss, salted caramel everything, and believes in true love and kissing, so writing romance novels has become a dream job.

Blog Tour: TODAY ONLY by D. Love #giveaway

In life, there are times you are granted a miracle. It may not be the one you wanted exactly, but it will be the one you need. It will prepare you for the next step in your journey and help you learn to accept the life you are given, even if that life can be heartbreaking.

Sneak Peak

My time here is dwindling. Everything around me – my body, the transition from winter to spring, the height chart marking the growth of my daughter, Emily – reminds me that the hourglass that is my life has only a few grains of sand left.

It’s my first thought this morning. I awoke early for a fundraiser, the Big Walk for March of Dimes. I start off with my daily routine. I jump in the shower, trying not to notice how much the droplets of water hurt my skin. The sting is too much this morning. I get out quickly, dry off and throw my hair in a simple ponytail at the base of my neck. I catch my reflection in the mirror and stare at myself for a minute.

Just a little longer? So I can watch Em grow up?

My mirror doesn’t have an answer for me.

"Come on, Em!" I call to my daughter. "Get your shoes on, before we’re late."

I turn away from the mirror, then hurry into the living room and grab Emily by the hand.

"You ready Em?" I ask. Whatever dread or fear I feel in front of my mirror fades at the sight of Em’s beautiful blue eyes.

She looks up at me with the biggest smile, and exclaims, "Yes!"

We hop in the car and head towards the Walk. My daughter’s eyes are glowing.

"Mama, this is going to be the best walk ever," she almost squeals in excitement. The innocence of my little angel never fails to humble me.

She doesn’t yet understand that this might be my last Walk with her.

"Yes, honey, this is going to be the best walk ever," I agree.

Ryan Stone is a less than average teenager. He doesn’t have fancy clothes. He doesn’t carry around the latest smartphone and he definitely doesn’t have an MP3 player. Instead, he goes to school, does his chores and dreams of a new life away from Brookfield where he’s expected to follow in his blue collar family’s footsteps.

Hadley Carter is America’s Pop Princess. A successful recording artist living her dream with a sold-out tour and a handful of Grammy’s there isn’t much that she wants for, except love. But finding love on the road is near impossible when all she longs for are romantic dinners, a nighttime stroll on the beach and holding hands with someone who isn’t going to exploit her.

When a chance encounter introduces Ryan to Hadley, will he be like her adoring fans looking for a way in, or will it be Hadley who pursues Ryan even though it might cost her the only career she’s known.

Lost in You is a story about following your dreams, taking risks and getting lost in love

This was definitely a different kind of romance!  There are so many things that I want to say about the story, but I feel as if I will be giving too much away.  Let's just say this is a First Love/Reunion story all wrapped into one, and I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride!

As far as heroes go, well...Ryan Stone is MIGHTY fine, if I do say so myself.  I have a big place in my heart for the loner heroes, the outcasts, and that is Ryan, not that he isn't SOOO crush worthy, (See Dylan), but he is from the wrong side of town and has parents who are strict and well...a little kooky!

Then to be thrown into a crazy, secret, long-distance relationship with Hadley Carter, pop star sensation, probably not the best choice for a first love! And it was sad, and heartbreaking and REAL!  Heidi writes such an honest portrayal of a time when your heart is so broken, you try and replace that person, but in the words of Monica from LOVE AND BASKETBALL, "I've loved you since I was eleven and the shit just won't go away."

I don't want to give anymore away, I will just say that if you are a fan of the New Adult Genre, then LOST IN YOU will be a sure favorite, and I highly recommend it to all my readers.  Take a chance on Ryan and Hadley, you won't be sorry you did!

Who is ready to hear more about this great YA release?

Who knew becoming lost in a new life could help a girl find her true colors?

When sixteen-year old Grace Indigo’s mother remarries after thirteen years of being a widow, Grace has to move to a new town and enroll in a new school. There, she finds herself thrust into a whole different life where she’s surrounded by a crowd totally opposite of her old nerd herd.

What’s worse, Ryder Yates, the boy who flirted with her and she turned down when they were attending separate schools, is a part of her new group. But he has a girlfriend, and Grace somehow ends up paired with his best friend. Yet after her relationship with her mother deteriorates and her old friends suddenly become incommunicado, Ryder is the only person she can rely on when her world goes haywire.

EXCERPT

“I’m Ryder.”

Startled because he hadn’t shrugged me off for a loser and left, I jolted and glanced up to take in his purple and white Southeast uniform. He was number forty-two. I had no idea why that detail stuck in my head but it seemed easier to focus on his jersey than to look back into his too-beautiful-for-his-Southeast-jersey green eyes.

He flashed his pearly whites with a knowing grin as if he realized exactly how awestruck I felt. “And you are…?” he prompted.

My mouth opened. Then closed. Then opened again. Not a word came out. My vocal chords had failed me. The most handsome boy I’d ever seen wanted to know my name.

As my brain wrapped around that fact, my thoughts fizzled and spurted out.

Run.

That was the only word to flash in bright neon lights through my head. I needed to get out of there before he realized I was a nobody.

“Not interested,” I blurted, more in a mummy trance than from actually thinking my answer through, because why, oh heavens, why I said not interested I still don’t know.

I have to say, Linda Kage kinda blew me away with this one.  Grace is every girl in your High School who goes home to the unknown, and feels as if she can't tell anyone about her hidden troubles.  Linda writes such a true depiction of the loneliness one would feel if they walked in Grace's shoes, but with the one light at the end of the tunnel, named Ryder Yates.

I love a hero like Ryder, so true to who he is and battling with the feelings he has inside, oh...I loved Ryder Yates and those peridot green eyes.

The Color of Grace touches on some very serious subjects, along with the strains of being a teenager, wanting a boy you can't have, dating a boy you aren't really into, and the loss and gain of old and new friends and the hardships along the way.  This book really took me back to my high school days.

I truly enjoyed The Color of Grace, and I would highly recommend to everyone, but especially a teen in your life who is dealing with these struggles and maybe needs to know that everyone goes through the same issues, even Grace Indigo!!

Thank you to Linda for allowing me to be part of this amazing Blog Tour and don't forget to enter to win an e-book copy of this awesome YA!!

Blurb:

LOVE CAN HAPPEN IN A HEARTBEAT.

Grace never thought she’d be starting her life over from scratch. Losing everything has landed her in Lucky Harbor, working as a dog walker for overwhelmed ER doctor Josh Scott. But the day his nanny fails to show up, Grace goes from caring for Josh’s loveable mutt to caring for his rambunctious kids. Soon Grace is playing house with the sexy single dad…

With so many people depending on him, Josh has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family–until Grace arrives in town. Now this brainy blonde is turning his life inside out and giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “good bedside manner.” Josh and Grace don’t know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day…

As I may have mentioned above, Forever and a Day, the third book of the Chocoholics Trilogy is AMAZING!!  We have gotten to know Grace Brooks and Dr. Josh Scott within the last two book and we FINALLY get to their love story, and it is SOOOOO worth the read!!

Grace Brooks had landed in Lucky Harbor after running out of gas on her way to anywhere and ended up being sucked in by new friends, and fellow chocoholics, Mallory and Amy.  She'd been doing odd jobs here and there to make ends meet until Dr. Scott, the yummy bachelor Dr. of Lucky Harbor, contacts her to help with his dog.  The job that was supposed to be easy becomes more and more complicated by the day and Grace's feelings for Josh get deeper and deeper.

Dr. Josh Scott has been doing the whole single-parent thing for the past five years and not only that, but he's also responsible for his disabled sister, he runs his father's practice and he takes shifts at the hospital.  He is worn out, tired and in need of some serious help.  Not only does Grace help him get his family life in order, she helps him to see that a little R&R is a much needed addition to his life, as well as Grace herself.

Forever and a Day was so much fun to read, full of page after page of Breath-holding, Where is this going, Are they finally going to, excitement.  I think I smiled throughout the entire book, that was how light-hearted I felt.  You won't be able to contain your excitement either, and I warn you to be prepared for an ALL-NIGHTER with this one.  There is NO WAY you are putting this one down.

This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I would definitely read the COMPLETE Lucky Harbor series, if you haven't already.  You are missing out on A LOT of great romance and happy endings.

GIVEAWAY QUESTION:  What is your FAVORITE Lucky Harbor Couple?  And If you haven't read this series by Jill Shalvis, please share another Favorite Couple that you have fallen in love with recently. (Please include a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS in your post to be entered.  Giveaway will run until Wednesday, July 18th 11:59pm EST)

A Tasty Read:  Which of the "Lucky" novels have been your favorite to write?

Jill Shalvis: Lucky In Love. There’s just something about a tough, badass, wounded hero …

A Tasty Read: What can we expect next in the Harbor?

Jill: After LUCKY IN LOVE comes AT LAST, and FOREVER AND A DAY. The three Chocoholics! J

A Tasty Read: Do you have one memorable HERO who stands out among the rest?

Jill: It changes but right now it’s Ty Garrison from Lucky In Love. The ex Navy SEAL isn’t sure he’s worthy of ER nurse Mallory Quinn and I loved watching him figure out just how good of a guy he really was.

Ty Garrison and Mallory Quinn are my new FAVORITE Shalvis Couple...I Simply Adored EVERY part of this book and couldn't put it down. I love when two characters are just so "perfect" for each other and their chemistry is off the charts!! Not only sexual chemistry, but something between them that just clicks, as if they have found the other person that understands them better than anyone.

But I will tell you, Ty fought his feelings for Mallory every step of the way, but when they were together, joking with each other, sharing with each other, I swear my heart just grew bigger and bigger. With every smile, touch and kiss I enjoyed the book more and more.

Good Girl Mallory who tried to be the peace maker within her family, the caregiver within her town and everyone's sweetheart FINALLY decided to walk on the edge and what an edge she walked. I think we all have been in her shoes, falling for the Bad Boy who isn't looking for anything past a few good rolls in the hay, but this bad boy might have been a bit different than we thought.

I think this may be one of the best books that I have read of 2012 and I think it may just be my favorite by Shalvis...I'll have to see if Amy or Grace, the other chocoholics, can top Lucky in Love, but I think we may just have a winner on our hands. Jill Shalvis simply out did herself with this one. I didn't think she would be able to top the chemistry between Chloe and Sawyer, but she did...and boy did I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!
