For me, ONCE PURE was a highly anticipated release because I was intrigued with Killian and Sofia from the beginning.  I wanted to know WHAT happened between them, or what was the link that held them together, and Cecy gives us that and so so much more!

On a side note, I can't wait for the O'Brien siblings to get their books, they are such a boisterous family who love each other but still can drive each other crazy, those are my favorite kinds!  I know their romances will be just as much fun as the Tres Santos Family was!

Aside from Killian and Sofia having some beyond excellent chemistry...get the fire hose ready ladies...there is a connection there, we don't know if it's love, if it's respect, if it's sisterly affection or guilt, but it is definitely something, and Cecy takes us on such an emotional ride with ONCE PURE, that I swear I started it and a moment later I felt as if I just tore through the pages until I was ripped open and raw with emotion.  Be prepared to go through the ringer with ONCE PURE.

Well....Cecy Robson does it again...she sucks me in, makes me feel and spits me out...but always leave me feeling truly happy inside...ONCE LOVED is a WIN in my book! 

ONCE LOVED centers on Lety, who we meet in ONCE PERFECT as one of Teo's younger sisters.  ONCE LOVED begins about a year after ONCE PERFECT, and is almost a reunion story between Lety and her ex-boyfriend Brody, whom she broke up with after a horrible experience involving her highly abusive father, Carlos (let's just say I have no  love lost for Carlos).  

ONCE LOVED is a true romance, which means it is NOT easy for these two to finally have their happily ever after.  Lety is a truly broken young lady, maybe not so much on the outside but on the inside and she doesn't want to drag Brody from his world of privledge into her world of abuse and violence that lingers and follows her with each step she takes.

Cecy gets down to the nitty gritty with ONCE LOVED, she writes the truth that many of us would like to sweep under the rug, but this is some peoples reality and she brings that to light.  I love Lety (I loved her from ONCE PERFECT).  She has spunk and sass and is just trying to make a better life for herself without the help of a man.  And my love Brody, he just wants to take care of her, and I love him all the more for it.  (and Brody is DEFINITELY up there for Book Boyfriend status)

Let me sum this up by saying that ONCE LOVED is a story of strength and justice, and a truly wonderful addition to the series.  I am SOOO looking forward to Sofia and Killian's book.

This is what I consider to be a "want to hide in bed all day so I can just read one more page" kind of read.  ONCE PERFECT was...well...Just Perfect! If I didn't have two little ones, and work to do, I would have finished in one sitting...ahhh...I remember those days...

Back to the book, Cecy Robson got me hooked...line and sinker, and for those who are fans of movies like CRAZY BEAUTIFUL , the PERFECT CHEMISTRY Series by Simone Elkeles, and the TRUE Believers Series by Erin McCarty, you will SOOO want to grab a hold of ONCE PERFECT, clear the calendar and dive into the sexy, sweet, emotional, and sometimes horrific world that is Teo and Evie...Oh Mateo (yes, for all you ALL MY CHILDREN fans....the heroes name is MATEO and he likes some gringa too!)

In ONCE PERFECT, we get a little something different from what we keep seeing in the NA world.  We get a club atmosphere, a taste of Underground Fighting, and the madness that is the age we call New Adult and the "Shattered Pasts" that come to haunt you when you think you can escape it!

The story is truly emotional at times, silly at times, sexy at times, and all together AWESOME.  I can't WAIT to see where Cecy takes the Shattered Past Series, which I believe is Lety and Brody next (OH YEAH), and I HOPE Sofia and Killian after that (and my daughter is Sofia with an "f", so I like her even more).
